Meet the Energise Health course facilitators
Dr Dee Burrows PhD, BSc (Hons), RGN, RNT
Partner & Facilitator
Dee is a registered Nurse. She was awarded her doctorate in 2000 for her thesis on the identification and use of self-generated pain coping strategies. She has worked in pain education, research, service development and clinical practice.
Dee co-authored the Faculty of Pain Medicine standards for nursing practice in pain, is contributing to the European Pain Federation position statement on pain and Long Covid and sits on the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Long Covid Working Group. She is a member of the RCN, British Pain Society and CMSUK.
As well as being a Partner and Programme Facilitator at Energise Health, Dee works in independent practice with people with chronic pain as a consequence of a personal injury or long-term condition.
Victoria Collins, BSc (Hons) OT
Partner & Facilitator
Victoria is a registered occupational therapist who worked in hospital and community settings in South Africa before relocating to the UK. Specialising in personal injury case management since 2008, she has worked in rehabilitation case manager, training and development, project management and senior leadership roles for national companies. She has also run her own consultancy business.
Victoria has a broad skill base, including clinical, leadership, business and entrepreneurial expertise. Her clinical specialisms include trauma and orthopaedics, neurology, chronic pain, mental health and vocational rehabilitation. She is also a skilled educator, project manager and mentor. She was a Director of CMSUK for 7 years (2013-2020), and served as Chair of the Events and Communications Committees during this time.
In addition to her role as Partner and Programme Facilitator at Energise Health, Victoria is also a Director of a national rehabilitation case management company. She is a member of BAOT and CMSUK.
